Heat shrink tubing is a type of thermosensitive plastic pipe that shrinks to a certain proportion of its original size after heating, thus tightly wrapping around the covered object. This material is mainly used for the protection, insulation casing, waterproofing, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength of the connection points of wires and cables.
According to the classification of flame retardant temperature, there are several types: 125 ℃ halogen-free flame retardant heat shrink tubing, 135 ℃ flame retardant heat shrink tubing, 150 ℃ flame retardant heat shrink tubing, and yellow green heat shrink tubing.

1. Heat shrinkage
Adaptability: Heat shrink tubing can automatically shrink after heating and tightly wrap around objects of various shapes and sizes, providing excellent insulation protection.
Heat shrink ratio: Heat shrink tubing has different heat shrink ratios, commonly including 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, etc,
2. Insulation performance
Electrical insulation: Heat shrink tubing provides excellent electrical insulation protection to prevent short circuits or leakage between enamelled wire and cables.
3. Mechanical protection
Wear resistance: Heat shrink tubing can protect wires and cables from wear, cutting, or other physical damage.
Enhanced strength: The shrunken sleeve can increase the mechanical strength of the protected object, reducing the possibility of wear and tear.
4. Waterproof and moisture-proof: Some heat shrink sleeves are coated with hot melt adhesive on the inner wall, which can achieve sealing effect after heating, effectively preventing water and pollutants from penetrating.
5. Diverse colors: Heat shrink tubing provides multiple colors for easy identification and classification of wires and cables.
